CLIENT DynoSense | ROLE Lead Industrial Designer | TIMELINE 2018 | DESIGN CONTEXT Human Industrial

Adore Smart Scale | Adore Sense is a connected body-composition scale that measures multiple health metrics and tracks results through the Adore platform. As one of the first products developed for Dynosense, the scale also helped establish a design language for the company’s growing family of connected health devices.

Concept Development & Brand Design Language | Early concepts explored how to organize the four sensing zones, display, and interaction area into a clear visual hierarchy. The selected direction used an elongated central ribbon to frame the display and establish a recognizable design detail that could carry across the Dynosense product family.

CAD Development & Mechanical Design‍ ‍| After selecting the design direction, I developed the exterior surfaces, injection-molded housing components, and mechanical architecture together in SolidWorks. The design integrated the display, BIA sensor panels, battery compartment, feet, and attachment features while maintaining the established design intent.

Design Details | The final design combines large-radius corners, chamfered edges, four individual sensor panels, and a raised aluminum bezel surrounding the central display. A high-contrast ribbon visually connects these elements and reinforces the design language established for the broader product family.
