Off-Road Vehicle Design & Fabrication | Over the past 20 years, I have designed, fabricated, and tested components for several purpose-built off-road vehicles. Each project combined mechanical integration, hands-on prototyping, and real-world testing to solve vehicle-specific packaging and performance challenges.
Toyota Tacoma Development | This ongoing build centers on integrating long-travel suspension, steering and drivetrain upgrades, chassis reinforcement, and custom-fabricated protection into a cohesive, trail-ready system. Components include custom skid plates with replaceable UHMW skins, suspension and steering modifications, and reinforced chassis structures—all developed around suspension travel, tire clearance, serviceability, durability, and real-world trail performance.
Earlier Toyota Builds | Earlier Toyota projects included solid-axle conversions, transmission and transfer-case swaps, and the design and fabrication of custom suspension systems. I also developed steering components, rock sliders, bumpers, roll protection, winch mounts, and other chassis modifications around the packaging and performance requirements of each vehicle, then refined the systems through installation and trail testing.
